Our own Natural Wine Project:
Todolo Gremisté

At Taste-Life, everything revolves around our passion for natural wine, and this passion has led us down a new and exciting path: making our own natural wine. Through years of tasting, learning, and discovering—visiting natural wine fairs, dining in restaurants where natural wine is the focus, and devouring books—the idea to start making our own natural wine emerged.

Together with my cousins Louis and Door, we gathered all the necessary materials and made connections with biodynamic winemakers in Germany and Italy. These renowned winemakers were willing to sell us their top-quality grapes, and thus began our journey to create our own wine.

The harvest is scheduled for September and October 2024. In the Chianti region, we will make our red wine from 100% Sangiovese grapes, a variety synonymous with the rich wine traditions of Tuscany. A week later, we will head to the Mosel, where we will harvest white grapes such as Sylvaner, Riesling, and Pinot Gris. From these grapes, we will not only create a white natural wine but also venture into making our first orange wine.

This project, named 'Todolo Gremisté', is a source of enthusiasm and dedication. While the name may sound like a prestigious winery, it is actually a playful combination of the syllables of our names and those of our partners—a nod to the close bond and collaboration that underpin this adventure.

We look forward to opening the first bottle in April 2025 and tasting what our collective passion and effort have produced. It promises to be a unique experience, and we can't wait to share these special wines with others who, like us, appreciate pure, authentic flavors with a story
