2022 Organic Pine Cone Pinot Blanc is a distinctive natural white wine from Rheinhessen, Germany. The name Pine Cone reflects the origin of the grape variety Pinot Blanc, with "Pinot" deriving from the shape of a pine cone. This wine embodies the winemaker's philosophy of working in harmony with nature, blending classical elegance with a modern approach.

Tasting Notes:
The Pine Cone Pinot Blanc shines with a bright straw-yellow hue. The nose reveals aromas of ripe stone fruits like peach and apricot, complemented by subtle notes of toasted nuts and a hint of vanilla from oak aging. On the palate, it's rich and complex, with a creamy texture and refined acidity, finishing with a long, silky aftertaste.

Vinification:
This wine was spontaneously fermented over 45 days in 400-liter neutral French oak barrels. Following primary fermentation, it rested on fine lees and underwent a slow malolactic fermentation lasting almost 4 months, with 10 rounds of bâtonnage. The total maturation period of nearly 8 months in neutral oak imparted depth and complexity to the wine.

About the Region:
Rheinhessen, situated in the heart of Germany, is known as one of the country's most dynamic wine regions. The Saulheimer Domherr vineyard, where this Pinot Blanc originates, boasts exceptional quality thanks to its limestone-rich soils and ideal microclimate for grape ripening.
